Dan T. Canavan Sr. from D.B. Becker to Retire

Effective July 31, 2018. Maroon Group LLC, a leading specialty chemical and ingredient distributor, announced the retirement of Dan T. Canavan Sr. from D.B. Becker, a Maroon Group LLC Company. Howard Hubert, President of Maroon Group’s CASE and Plastics verticals, has been appointed to lead the business with the support of the existing D.B. Becker management team. This is the culmination of a long-term transition plan that the company had in place and Dan and Howard have worked closely together to ensure a smooth transition.

Dan has been the President of D.B. Becker, a company that he purchased in 1990, and together with his family and team grew to be one of the most respected chemical distributors in the CASE and related markets. D.B. Becker became part of Maroon Group in July 2015.
